Indications

A balanced vaginal ecosystem is an essential requirement for female well-being, and the integrity of the vaginal mucosa is fundamental to the protection of this environment. A healthy vaginal epithelium actually provides the nourishment (glycogen) and environmental conditions (pH 3.5 - 4.5) needed for the growth of "friendly" microflora ("Doderleïn" bacilli). There are many factors, such as pathogenic microorganisms, toxic substances, common conditions (menopause, pharmacological treatments, oral contraceptives, tight clothing, nutrition), that can alter the defense mechanisms described above and thus facilitate the onset of vaginitis and vaginosis. It is therefore essential to maintain a healthy, well-protected vaginal environment.

WHAT IT IS Decovagin ® vaginal douche is a CE-certified medical device with an effective filming effect on the vaginal mucosa, creating a physiologically active environment to protect against pathogens.

CONTENT OF THE BOTTLE Decovagin Vaginal Douche contains sodium hyaluronate, aloe vera and magaldrate, the film-forming and protective properties of which help cell regeneration processes and relieve typical symptoms of vaginal discomfort. The formulation also contains lactic acid, which is found naturally in the vaginal environment and facilitates the rapid adjustment of pH that is indispensable to the health of the vaginal microflora.

WHY IT IS USED Decovagin® vaginal douche helps to relieve irritation, burning and itching, and improves the pH and hydration of the vaginal mucosa. It helps to safeguard the vaginal ecosystem and prevent annoying symptoms that appear in cases of vaginitis and vaginosis. It is also recommended for women going through the menopause, to restore the physiology of the vagina and relieve dryness. Decovagin® vaginal douche is not a substitute for medical treatment. It is intended as a supplementary product.

Composition

Each bottle contains: Aqua, sodium hyaluronate, aloe vera gel, lactic acid, polysorbate 20, sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate, fragrance. The reservoir cap contains: Magaldrate, Magnesium stearate, Micronized silica.

Recommended daily dosage

The recommended frequency is 1 application per day, in the morning and evening before bedtime.

Cautions

Keep this preparation out of the sight and reach of children. The product is not intended for pediatric use. The product is for vaginal use. Do not use for purposes other than those indicated. Do not swallow. Avoid contact with the eyes. The device is single-use: use immediately after opening. Any remaining product in the open bottle must be discarded and not re-used. The cannula is not re-usable: it must be discarded after the first use. Do not use if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients of the product. Use of all topical products, especially if prolonged, can cause sensitization. In the event of confirmed or presumed pregnancy, when breastfeeding or if using other local pharmaceutical treatments, consult a doctor before using this product.
