Indications

Decon® vaginal douche is a CE-certified medical device with an effective filming effect on the vaginal mucosa, creating a physiologically active environment to protect against pathogens.
It successfully removes unwanted secretions such as those present after menstruation or sexual intercourse, or residues of topical medications following local treatment.

Decon® vaginal douche contains sodium hyaluronate and aloe vera, with film-forming and moisturizing properties which help the cell regeneration process and relieve the typical symptoms of vaginal discomfort. The formulation also contains lactic acid, which is found naturally in the vaginal environment and facilitates the rapid adjustment of pH that is indispensable to the health of the vaginal microflora.

Decon® vaginal douche helps to relieve irritation, burning and itching, and improves the pH and hydration of the vaginal mucosa. It helps to safeguard the vaginal ecosystem and prevent annoying symptoms that appear in cases of vaginitis and vaginosis. It is also recommended for women going through the menopause, to restore the physiology of the vagina and relieve dryness. Decon® vaginal douche is not a substitute for medical treatment. It is intended as a supplementary product.

Composition

Aqua, sodium hyaluronate, aloe vera gel, lactic acid, polysorbate 20, sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate, fragrance.

Recommended daily dosage

The recommended frequency is 1 application per day, in the morning or evening before bedtime.

Mode of use

Wash hands thoroughly before using Decon® vaginal douche. This is a single-use medical device. Each douche must be used for a single irrigation as described below:

1. Push the upper part of the cap until the inner capsule is completely detached from the rest of the cap.

2. Insert the cannula into the bottle.

Irrigate by gently inserting the cannula into the vagina, pressing the walls of the bottle until completely empty.

Cautions

- Keep this preparation out of the sight and reach of children.
- The product is not intended for pediatric use.
- The product is for vaginal use.
- Do not use for purposes other than those indicated.
- Do not swallow.
- Avoid contact with eyes.
- The device is single-use: use immediately after opening. - Any remaining product in the open bottle must be discarded and not re-used.
- The cannula is not re-usable: it must be discarded after the first use.
- Do not use if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients of the product.
- Use of all topical products, especially if prolonged, can cause sensitization.
- In the event of confirmed or presumed pregnancy, when breastfeeding or if using other local pharmaceutical treatments, consult a doctor before using this product.

Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the outer packaging and printed on the vial. Do not use if the packaging is damaged. Store at room temperature away from heat sources and protected from light.
